Model is hand-crafted from hard wood with planks on frame construction and then the hull below waterline is painted as the color of the real boat. On both side of the hull has the lattice to illustrate the real boat was used for eel finishing.

HISTORY

Shipyard Baasrode – The last Baasrode boat was built in 1900 – Replicas are currently being made after discussion from both old and young boat builders from Belgium & Holland. The Rosalie originally was used for eel fishing, the replica when built will be used for trips for the musuem visitors. (source Boat Building Org.)
